The Southeastern Railway Museum and the city of Duluth will host the sixth annual Fast Track 5K on May 9.
The race, which supports the educational and operational mission of the museum, is a USA Track & Field certified event and is a pre-qualifier to the Peachtree Road Race.
The family-friendly race is open to all skill levels, including walkers, participants in strollers and pets on leashes.
This year’s race will step off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, in downtown Duluth and will follow the same route as in previous years. It will start in front of Eddie Owens Presents at the Red Clay Theater in Downtown Duluth and finishes on the Town Green.
Registration for this year’s Fast Track 5K is now open and is $25 until March 31 and $30 starting April 1. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Following the race, participants with a race number will be administered free entry to the Southeastern Railway Museum, along with four family members or friends.
