September’s Second Thursday program was all about buses.
In September, the vehicles included a school bus and a Gwinnett Transit bus. Children, parents and grandparents were “BUStling” to and from the different bus-related activities.
Sarah from the Gwinnett Library read “Wheels on the Bus,” an appropriate story for the day. Mike conducted a memory game, and Leslie was busy with a Catch the Bus activity. Ora was in charge of overseeing the walkthrough on the buses and Ruth help the children choose either a transit bus or a school bus to create with construction paper and adding paper passengers during the craft activity.
All the participants enjoyed learning about the ins and outs and the stop and go of buses.
