Summer Camp – 2025!
SRM Summer Camp is back and better! We’ll feature Savannah & Atlanta steam locomotive 750, Presidential Pullman Superb, the Campbell Limestone Heisler, our yellow GE 50 Tonner SRM 3, the 4-4-0 General II locomotive, a caboose, and our famous Duluth, Southern and Coastline Park Train.
Children 5-12 years old will enjoy the chance to learn about, and see up close, locomotives and railcars from 1911 forward. Campers will take train rides and a tour of our restoration and repair shop at the museum – something not everyone gets to see! They will learn what the museum shop crew is working on and heard from our guest speaker about train safety.
Camp includes lots of fun with arts and crafts, activities, games, lessons, and more! The camp is held at our Education Center located behind Building One on our campus. The center includes indoor classrooms, an outdoor classroom, and a picnic area on our 35-acre museum.
Plan to register early as space fills up quickly! Camp fees include a camp T-shirt and a daily snack.
All aboard!
